10 Nov PROJECT MANAGEMENT WITH OUTSOURCING
Project Management is an important field since man started his journey of development. In history we can see big projects like construction of Pyramids and China Wall. Days back people used conventional techniques of project management which normally results into cost over run and delays. As per PMI (Project Management Institute) normally projects take 168% of budgeted cost and only 22% are completed in time and within the budgeted resources.
In this era of globalization the project management has also become complex due to requirement of coordination among project team spread over globe. Outsourcing is the buzz word of today. Companies based in USA, Canada and Europe etc are outsourcing their work to South Asia ( India, Pakistan and Bangladesh), Eastern & Central Europe and China. To get low cost advantage of outsourcing, project managers require new and better communication and controlling techniques and tools which augment the conventional project management.
